Traditional Legal English courses have taken an academic approach to training. Classrooms and lectures are the primary teaching methods. We take a much different approach – one that is far more effective. While our curriculum and training methods have been developed with state-of-the art literature, we emphasize the practical application of core skills and strategies. We recreate a real-world learning experience.

Using our signature training method, we use role-play simulations that enable legal professionals to integrate theory with practice. In all Legal English Programs, students interact directly with American and British lawyers.

Intro to U.S. & British legal systems with emphasis on civil dispute resolution processes; fundamental elements of the criminal justice systems with emphasis on financial & white-collar crimes; legal risk analysis & risk mitigation strategies; mediation & alternate dispute resolution.

Students will study specific areas of the law with a focus on distinct language used in each discipline: contracts, torts, real property, commercial law, corporations, international and comparative law; intro to intellectual property.

Explore communication strategies & techniques for using legal English; language and approaches used in negotiations, mediation, alternate dispute resolution and arbitrations; review interviewing techniques, advanced risk management strategies, corporate compliance and internal investigations.

Customized learning experiences for lawyers and legal practitioners who have specific communication needs. These include assisting with the preparation and delivery of presentations for clients, mediations, arbitrations and/or other dispute resolution procedures. We can also prepare customized instruction in legal disciplines to meet specific client needs.
