CORE BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS
The best business leaders are, first and foremost, great communicators. The foundation of a great communicator is built upon sound speaking and listening skills. These are the core elements of effective business communications. We have designed a course that helps students develop these foundational skills in critical business communications. Specifically, we focus on 4 critical areas:
– Conflict & dispute resolution
– Negotiations & Compromise
For each topic area, we use a combination of conversation and listening comprehension exercises to develop specific skills and communication strategies. We use an interactive approach that consists of role-play and simulations so that students can build and broaden their communications capabilities with “real world” experiences and constructive feedback. At the conclusion of the course, students will have improved their speaking and listening abilities such that they can communicate with confidence and persuasion in core business communications.
