M:POWER Launches Master Class: International Arbitration Skills

M:POWER is pleased to announce the launch of its Master Class: International Arbitration Skills training course that is designed especially for Italian litigators.

The process of arbitration is adversarial in nature. To succeed in these proceedings, attorneys must be adept at direct and cross examination of lay and expert witnesses. They must know how to manage demonstrative and documentary exhibits efficiently and effectively.  And, attorneys must be skilled at presenting persuasive oral arguments to the tribunal.

M:POWER’s Master Class will help litigators develop these essential core skills by offering a unique learning experience that combines both an instructional and practical approach. In each lesson, attorneys will have the opportunity to practice core litigation skills using case problems and “real world” scenarios.

M:POWER has also partnered with expert witnesses, arbitrators and English and American litigators who will participate in the role-play practice sessions.  The course will be led by M:POWER Senior Partner, Lisa Marchese, an accomplished American trial lawyer who is also experienced in representing clients before international arbitration tribunals throughout the world.

While in private practice, Lisa was consistently named a top commercial litigator by Chambers and Partners. In 2008, she was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates for her distinguished record as a trial lawyer. Since 2000, Lisa has been an Adjunct Law Professor and has taught trial advocacy and litigation skills to law students for the past 20 years.  She brings her extensive background and experience to the Master Class Series to offer attorneys a unique and invaluable learning experience.
